(Dayton, OH) – The Edward A. Dixon Gallery continues its commitment to featuring local, regional and international artwork with its new offering from Cuban artist, Julio Antonio Pino Varens.
Pino Varens is a self-described Colorists whose artwork can be described as both abstract and Afro-Cuban, touching on Cuban and African legends and religions combined with his own personal expression.
Pino Varens continues to paint in his hometown of Cienfuegos, Cuba amid the struggles of scarce opportunities to exhibit and even more rare and excessively expensive supplies for his art. A preview of his work is currently on view at the gallery and are available for purchase and viewing on Fridays 4-8p and Saturdays 12-4p or by appointment by calling (937) 985-2115.
